Abstract

Research on vocational guidance has a diversified nature and uses various methodologies, depending on the adopted perspective and cognitive interests of the researcher. This paper provides an ecological point of view which appears in counsellogy critical research. It comprises a description of ecology-related concepts of vocational guidance, divided into constructivist and constructionist approaches. It presents the views expressed by researchers focusing on such areas as “Life Design Counselling”, “The ISM Integrative Model” and some concepts of individual authors referred to as “sociodynamic counselling” and “green counselling”.
