Influencerzy i followersi w perspektywie teologii stosowanej

Abstract

t has been known for a long time that “advertising is the lever of commerce” and the economic world is ruled by those who can generate or recognize consumer needs. Nowadays, a common source of customer acquisition is the Internet, in which a special role is played by influencers who promote various types of brands, products and services, and followers who follow them. In such a context, the Church, whose task is to lead people to salvation, carries out its mission. This article attempts to answer the question: can the activities of influencers prove to be a sanctifying form of human work? Help in this task is to 1) present influencers and followers as a determinant of the economy; 2) identify the likely sources of success of online creators, and 3) put the above issues in a theological perspective.
